2014: Bollywood's Noisemakers

2014 was quite a noisy year for Bollywood. There was mud-slinging, name-calling and what not. SpotboyE.com brings you the list of the noisemakers:

DEEPIKA PADUKONE: Bollywood’s current No.1 had both commercial (Happy New Year) and critical acclaim (Finding Fanny). And then right in the middle for her successful streak, something made her furious- a tweet by a publication. It read, “OMG! Deepikas cleavage show.It was a top angle shot of hers while promoting Chennai Express and was in such poor taste. Deepika did not take it lying down. In a series of tweets she hit back at the publication. And then, she had the last word with a no-nonsense letter on her Facebook page.

PREITY ZINTA-NESS WADIA:  Ness and Preitys break-up took a turn for the worse when Preity accused Ness of molestation and even said she was scared for her life. In a letter to Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, she wrote: Nesss behaviour towards me is getting more and more aggressive and violent over a period of time. From throwing burning cigarettes at my face to locking me up in rooms and manhandling me, I have seen it all with him.” She even filed a police complaint against Ness.

MEHR JESIA-ARJUN RAMPAL-SUSSANNE ROSHAN: A story in a section of the media that Mehr had apparently found that out that despite their repeated denials, the friendship between Sussanne and her husband Arjun ran deeper. The story also said that Mehr had confronted Sussanne and Arjun. But Sussanne denied it in a letter to the media: Arjun and Mehr are friends and have been for years. To poison a relationship such as this is malicious behavior. I have, with Mehr, earlier stated in the same paper that there is no truth to the claim that Arjun and I are anything more than friendsI never was and am not an idle Bollywood wife who has all the time in the world to spread canards and lies that damage relationships and lives.



AAMIR KHAN-RAJKUMAR HIRANI: Oh God! Did you see that! Is that really Aamir Khan naked? With only a transistor? These are just some of the reactions when Aamirs 'nude' poster of Rajkumar Hirani's PK hit the web. He was clad only in a transistor and we would not blame you if you were curious to see how the rest of the movie panned out. The film that hit the theatres on Dcember 19 started off on a thundering note at the ticket windows. Some Hindu outfits demanded a ban on it, but this not affect the film's box-office collections.



SALMAN KHAN: The actor spent a good part of the year being boycotted by press photographers because they felt he owed them an apology for being manhandled by his security team. But in true Salman style he ignored them. Instead he took on them in their own way by being a savvy photo uploader during Arpitas wedding: He even took them on when he instantly posted photos of his sister Arpitas wedding on social media before anyone else could get their hands on it.



SONAKSHI SINHA:  The Lootera actress angered Salman Khan at his sister Arpita's weddding reception. While it is still a mystery what provoked Salman but he told Sonakshi rather loudly: "Maine aisa kabhi nahin bola." Sonakshi started sobbing in the party. 



SHWETA BASU PRASAD: The Makdee actress found herself in a rehabilitation home after she was allegedly caught in a prostitution racket. However, she received support from the industry and it seems that she has emerged stronger than ever



GAUHAR KHAN:  On the sets of a reality show, Chand Baby of Ishaqzaade was slapped by a junior artiste who took offense over her choice of clothing. It was a real low point for common sense. But Gauhar did not take it lying down.
